A small fire early this morning at the offices of the Shreveport Times has been ruled electrical in nature. Firefighters were called to the newspaper's Lake Street offices just after two a-m and found light smoke and a sprinkler head activated in the old press room. Using hand-held extinguishers, they had the fire out in a matter of minutes. Investigators have determined that the fire started in conduit connected to a ceiling light.
