K9 Storm, alongside the US Marshals Violent Offenders Task Force, successfully apprehended 26-year-old Addorrous Lewis, a wanted individual, on March 8, 2024. Lewis attempted to evade authorities on foot following an attempted arrest for outstanding warrants. However, K9 Storm quickly responded to the scene and effectively assisted in securing Lewis.

As a result of this collaborative effort, Lewis faces multiple charges, including possession of a firearm as a convicted felon, possession of a stolen firearm, and various outstanding warrants.

K9 Storm's rapid response and invaluable assistance highlight the dedication and effectiveness of Shreveport's Police K-9 Unit and the vital role police K9 units play in apprehending dangerous individuals and upholding justice in our community.

The Shreveport Police Department expresses gratitude to K9 Storm for his exemplary service and to all law enforcement personnel involved in this successful operation.
