New Orleans Saints’ Usama Young Comes To Local Elementary School

New Orleans Saints defensive back Usama Young will visit Meadowview Elementary School (4315 Shed Road, Bossier City, 71111) Wednesday, April 27, 2011, as part of the “Take a Player to School” essay contest, presented by MetroPCS.  The winning student is third-grader Dezrel Eloph.

Dezrel, 9, wrote the winning essay asking Young to come talk to his class about how to overcome the mental and physical blocks football players may face on and off the field.  Dezrel loves video games, sports and painting and wants to be a football player when he grows up.  

Young will speak with Dezrel’s class in the school gym beginning at 12 p.m.
