A young woman has been arrested for driving drunk...REALLY drunk. The Bossier Sheriff's Office says 21-year-old Courtney Glyn Matthews' blood alcohol level was nearly three times the legal limit when she headed down Highway 3 in Plain Dealing, lost control of her vehicle and drove into a ditch -- in a Benton residential neighborhood. When deputies found her, she was asleep behind the wheel with the engine still running. They saw three open bottles of Bud Light inside the car. Deputies woke her up, but she refused to get out of the car or unlock the door at first. When they threatened to "remove her" from the car...she exited. She didn't do well on a field sobriety test, and a check of her driver's license showed it was suspended. She was taken to Bossier Max, where her Intoxilizer sample came back at a .204-percent. She faces numerous charges, including second-offense DWI.
