The results are in from a weekend Caddo Sheriff's Office safety checkpoint. It was held last evening on Shreveport-Blanchard Highway, north of Roy Road.

Deputies checked 103 vehicles, and cited 11 people for disregarding seat belt laws as part of the nationwide "Click It or Ticket" enforcement campaign.

Deputies say drivers can be cited for all occupants under the age of 13 who are not properly restrained. They urge you to buckle up on every trip, don't drink and drive, and report unsafe drivers to local law enforcement.
