NASA Paying $18,000 For You to Stay in Bed
You know those mornings where you just can't get out of bed. Do you ever wish you could just get paid to lay in bed all day? Well, your dream has come true! NASA and the European Space Agency are paying out well over $18,000 for a couple of months worth of "work". You would be a guinea pig of sorts. Why are you laying down for 2 months? This study will hopefully find out the effects of weightlessness on the human body. If chosen you will spend 60 days in a sack called the AGBRESA which means Artificial Gravity Bed Rest Study.
Currently astronauts on the International Space Station are required to do multiple exercises a day to make sure that their bones and muscles don't breakdown. If you want to get signed up and possibly be picked for this 60 day assignment click here. Just in case you need more information on the study here is what the website had to say. "The results of the study help scientists develop more effective countermeasures or preventive measures so that astronauts on the space station do not have to spend most of their day doing sports. A promising countermeasure is driving in a so-called short-arm human centrifuge, which generates artificial gravity and distributes body fluids back into the body."
