Tammy Wynette's Beach House
The "Stand by Your Man" singer lived like a true Queen of Country at her beachside estate in Jupiter, Fla. The 6400-square-foot house has six bedrooms and seven bathrooms, and it's exceptionally well-appointed throughout, with an especially elegant gourmet kitchen. But the most impressive feature of the property has to be the indoor swimming pool with a massive skylight above it. Talk about amazing views!
Sheryl Crow's Solar Mansion
Sheryl Crow's former Tennessee residence is not only lavish, it's also functional. The three-story, 10,433-square-foot main house has everything you could ever want and then some, including its own elevator, as well as a whole-house generator and full apartment on the lower level. When Crow bought the house in 2006 she invested in converting not only the main house, but also the entire 152-acre horse farm to completely solar energy. She has since sold the property to ZZ Top bassist Dusty Hill.
Reba McEntire's Starstruck Farm
The flame-haired country legend was sure "Fancy" in her elegant lakeside home outside of Nashville. McEntire's 13,000-square-foot home sat on 83 acres dubbed Starstruck Farm, and it was any Southern Belle's dream home. The house features seven bedrooms and bathrooms, a garage built for eight cars and a barn with five stalls. There's also a full horse facility with 16 stalls, plus a pool, tennis court, guest house, hot tub, spa and elevator. The grounds are so elaborately well-kept that the place resembles a luxury resort — and in fact, after McEntire sold the place for $5 million to a development group, it's been turned into an upscale country music-themed events venue!
Jason Aldean's Rural Castle
Whoever coined the phrase, "A man's home is his castle," must have visited Jason Aldean's house. The 8,900-square-foot, $7.875 million mansion sits on 120 acres of prime rural land outside of Nashville and features six bedrooms and nine bathrooms, a separate bowling alley, a wine cellar and a wet bar. The luxurious grounds include a huge barn with horse stalls, a built-in outdoor grilling area and more, but perhaps the most spectacular, eye-catching feature of the mansion is the actual turret on the front of the house.
John Rich's Mt. Richmore
John Rich calls his spectacular estate Mt. Richmore, and it's definitely one of the most eye-catching celebrity mansions in Nashville. The 17,081-square-foot, 20-room mansion includes five bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, an elevator and a 4,000-square-foot private club that includes a fully-stocked bar and a stage that's set for musical performance. There's also a guitar-shaped pool, which has been featured on numerous television shows.
Kenny Rogers' Atlanta Mansion
Kenny Rogers is another country legend who has lived like actual royalty. His 13,000-square-foot Mediterranean estate outside of Atlanta was unbelievably opulent, with wrought iron entry gates and a vast two-story foyer with matching curved staircases. The house features elegant formal living and dining rooms and a huge eat-in kitchen with a massive double island. The extravagant residence has 10 fireplaces and also features a conservatory, a family room/game room with its own full bar and a private movie theater with stadium seating.
Kelly Clarkson's Nashville Mansion
The pop and sometime country singer's 20,000-square-foot, $8.75 million mansion sits on six acres and includes seven bedrooms, eight full bathrooms and three half bathrooms. The vast entry hall is flanked by double staircases, and the house also includes formal living and dining areas and two spas. The basement features a wet bar next to the pool table with custom horse bar stools, a theater and four built-in bunk beds, and the grounds boast a private dock, saltwater pool and sand volleyball court.
Rayna Jaymes' Nashville Mansion
The enormous, stately mansion Nashville producers used to portray Rayna Jaymes' house on the show is even more jaw-dropping in real life than most stars' homes. The 20,533-square-foot, $17,999,999 home boasts six bedrooms, eight bathrooms and three half-bathrooms. The European village-style estate has a slate roof, and five of the bedrooms are enormous en-suites, while the other one is a private entry apartment with its own separate living, dining, kitchen and laundry rooms. The mansion also has a climate-controlled wine cellar that holds up to 3,000 bottles and enough dining space to seat more than 50 guests, as well as parking space for more than 300 cars.
George Strait's Custom-Built Southwestern Mansion
George Strait may very well win the prize for the country singer with the most unique home. His lavish San Antonio-area mansion was custom built, and the one-of-a-kind adobe estate has unbelievable visual appeal no matter where you look. The 7,925-square-foot castle-like mansion features three bedrooms, four full bathrooms and two half-baths. Each bedroom is an en-suite with a separate bathroom and its own fireplace. The property also boasts an infinity pool/spa and a sports court, a work out room with a private bathroom and sauna and a walk-in safe room. The eye-popping house also has a gourmet kitchen, separate his and her bathrooms and closets and a total of 14 hand-sculpted masonry fireplaces.
Alan Jackson's Antebellum Mansion
The mansion that Alan Jackson built for his family outside of Nashville was not only the most lavish of all of the country stars' homes, it's opulent by any standard. Inspired by Tara from Gone With the Wind, the 18,622-square-foot, $28 million house took 23 months to build. Jackson named the mansion Sweetbriar, and its first floor features formal dining and living rooms, a home office with maple floors, a large family room with 22 ft. ceilings, a gourmet kitchen with adjoining breakfast room and a glass-enclosed porch. The second floor includes four bedroom suites, an exercise room and nanny quarters, while the Southern manor home's third floor includes a game room, a home theater and a custom pub.
