Shreveport’s Max Chambers Shines on NBC’s The Voice Finale
Shreveport's own Max Chambers has wrapped up his run on The Voice on NBC. He was voted onto the finale by viewers. He was a member of Michael Buble's team.
He performed a Christmas tune with Buble on last nights finale episode. He looked like he was having such a great time.
Max did not win the trophy, but he did finish in 5th place. We have to remember this is a 14-year-old guy who is immensely talented. He starred in the cast of MJ on Broadway as a young Michael Jackson.
The one time Caddo Middle Magnet student won both “Best in Show” and “People's Choice” for the 2023 Artbreak's Got Talent competition.
When Max performed Stevie Wonder's "Don't You Worry 'Bout a Thing" during the knockout rounds, he was awarded the first Mic Drop award. This was my favorite Max Chambers performance of the season.
Chambers is scheduled to arrive back home sometime this afternoon. His Mom has confirmed with the folks at SRAC that he's flying home today. The local arts council is putting together a crowd to welcome him home as soon as they get his final flight information.
The winner for Season 28 of “The Voice” was Aiden Ross. He was on team Niall Horan's team. Niall is the Irish singer-songwriter and former One Direction member. This was Team Niall's third win. In fact, every time he's been a coach, his contestants have won the show.
