UPDATE: Police have an arrest warrant for a man wanted in the shooting of Tyrell Diggs.

Detectives have identified 26-year-old KDarius Hines as the suspect in the shooting. He'll be charged with attempted second degree murder once investigators locate him. If you know where he is, call Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373.


ORIGINAL:  A Shreveport man was wounded in a shooting at the Raceway gas station in the 200 block of East 70th Street.

Just before midnight on July 6, patrol officers were called to University Health regarding a man who arrived at the emergency room via private vehicle.

They found out 26-year-old Tyrell Diggs had suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the upper torso. His wounds were described as serious, but he is expected to recover.

Investigators have learned that Diggs was at the gas station, when he and another male got into an argument. At the height of the dispute, the other man allegedly pulled a gun, shooting Diggs multipe times before fleeing.

Authorities say they've recovered evidence at the scene and are hopeful that witnesses will come forward with additional information. If you know anything that can help, call Shreveport-Caddo Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373. No arrests have been made so far.
