Police are looking for a man accused of kidnapping a woman in west Shreveport.

Just before 3 p.m. on July 14, 2014, patrol officers were called to a home in the 1400 block of Doris Street. They found out an adult female living in the home was abducted at gunpoint by her ex-boyfriend, forced into a silver sedan and driven away.

Nearly three hours later, the alleged suspect reportedly returned to the woman's home, where he's said to have dropped her off. She suffered minor injuries during the ordeal.

The man, armed with a rifle, left the scene in what's been described as a silver or gray four-door vehicle, possibly a newer-model Chevy Malibu. Investigators are working to get an arrest warrant for the suspect.

Anyone with information that can help police is asked to call Shreveport-Caddo Crime Stoppers at 673-7373. You can also SUBMIT A TIP ONLINE.
