Man Sought for Attempted Break-In at Haughton Dixie Mart
The Bossier Sheriff's Office is asking the public for help in identifying the young man who broke a front glass door of the Dixie Mart in Haughton early yesterday morning while apparently trying to break in.
Surveillance video from the convenience store shows the young, shirtless, man pulling on the doors and pounding on the glass with his head, hands and elbow. Then, he picks up the outdoor ashtray and strikes the front door with it, breaking the glass. At this point, the store's alarm went off and the suspect ran away.
He's described as a white male in his late teens or early twenties, slim-built, average height with brown hair. He was wearing shorts and no shirt, and deputies say he may have injuries to his right elbow and hand.
