UPDATE: Man Dies after Shreveport Shooting – Woman Beaten

The male victim in the early Sunday morning shooting on Jewella at Greenwood Road has died.
The Caddo Coroner just released this statement:
A man shot and killed in west-central Shreveport early Sunday has been identified as 22-year-old Eric D. Brownlee Jr. of Shreveport. He was shot and mortally wounded at a gas station in the 4000 block of Jewella Avenue around 2:22 a.m. He was transported to Ochsner LSU Health hospital where he succumbed to his wound at 3:39 a.m.

Shreveport police are searching for suspects in an early morning shooting on Jewella near Greenwood Road early Sunday morning.
Police were called to the scene just before 2:30 Sunday morning. There was a report of a shooting at the Clark Convenience store.
Officers found a man shot several times outside the business. He was rushed to Ochsner LSU Health for treatment of life threatening wounds. Officers also found a woman who had been beaten during this incident. She was also taken to the hospital for treatment.
Police are on the hunt for two men who fled in a blue Chevy truck. The window on the drivers side of the truck is busted out.
