A Shreveport man is in jail -- accused of breaking into two houses. Caddo sheriff's deputies have arrested 18-year-old Jordan Bowlin and charged him with two recent burglaries. This past Saturday, about 3:15 in the morning, a homeowner was awakened by a security alarm at his house in the 500 block of Harris Lane. He found an open side garage door. About six hours later, his wife's purse was found in the trash at a convenience store at Bert Kouns and I-49. Surveilance video from the store showed a man in a black car disposing of the purse. Turns out, that same car had been stopped four days earlier by a deputy, and that's what led to Bowlin's arrest. He's also accused of breaking into a house in the 400 block of Goldsberry Circle the same day as the traffic stop and taking firearms and other items.
