With the "snow days" over the past couple of weeks, how are local schools going about making up that lost time? Spokeswoman Trisha Grayson says Caddo schools will *not* be cutting into spring break. Instead, they'll be adding minutes here and there throughout the school year. She says that might change, however, if schools continue to have snow days. She says the school officials will keep parents informed of any changes to their children's schedules.

Bossier Schools Superintendent D.C. Machen says *most* Bossier schools are looking O.K. He says all but six Bossier schools exceed the minimum instructional minutes requirement by about five minutes per school day. He says those six are elementary schools, and will be modifying their daily schedules by cutting recess and lunch times, and transition between classes. He says if there are any additional bad weather days, class start and end times might need to be altered.
