Major Comcast Outage In Northwest Louisiana

Thousands of customers were without Comcast service Tuesday afternoon.

According to  Alex Horwitz, Vice President of Public Relations for Comcast, a landscaping crew accidentally cut two fiber optic lines in Mississippi causing the outage. It took several hours of work, but service finally was restored.

According to reports, there were widespread outages in Shreveport, Monroe, and even parts of Dallas.
