LSUS Campus Expected to Re-open Next Week

Because of a power outage on the campus, LSU-Shreveport will remain closed through this coming Sunday. Campus spokeswoman Jennifer Steadman says officials expect it to be open for business Monday, April 2nd, at 8 a.m. The delay is the result of having to replace 40 feet of underground conduit -- and having to splice the power cables in the manholes. The campus was plagued with an electrical outage last Wednesday because of failure of the primary electrical feed. Email and IT services are working, though. Check the LSUS website for updates.
