LSUHSC Anesthesiologist Stabbed To Death: Son Charged

A Bossier Parish man is due in court Monday. He is accused of stabbing his mother to death.

55-year-old Dr. Donna Holder, an anesthesiologist at the LSU Health Sciences Center was killed Friday night at her home on Stonebridge Boulevard. Her 20-year-old son, Christopher Wayne Holder, is locked up today charged with second-degree murder. Police believe the son has a history of mental problems. Christopher Holder called police to report that his mother had been attacked by a man who broke into their home. Officers found Donna Holder dead from multiple stab wounds.
