Cara, the reportedly friendly, Burmese python and now-viral sensation from Baton Rouge has been found. The non-poisonous 12 foot long, 150-pound reptile has been loose in the Mall of Louisiana since Monday, July 5th, 2021. What makes this worse is that the snake was supposedly missing from the Blue Zoo Aquarium for around 30 hours BEFORE the escape was reported to authorities. This resulted in the entire Mall of Louisiana being closed for a while Tuesday and Blue Zoo Aquarium being closed both Tuesday and Wednesday. The terror-inducing slitherer was finally recovered early this morning around 4:15 am. One report said the snake was found in one of the walls of the mall, another said Cara was in a crawl space. I don't really care, I'm just glad she's been found. Cara is currently being checked over at the LSU Vet school.

Of course, while Cara was on the lam, she made sure to create her own social media empire. And yes, Cara is definitely #TeamFreeBritney!

I won't lie. I don't even like looking at pictures of snakes, but this is FUNNY!

You have to admit that Kas has a point. What the heck is happening in Baton Rouge? A piranha in the lake at LSU and a snake in the mall. Maybe try Tigerland, next?

And maybe it's just me, but how do you know that Cara is a girl? Because she likes to shop?
