Why Is the Cajun Internet Having a Major Meltdown Right Now?

It all started when a man by the name of John Donaldson decided to disturb everyone's peace by posting a picture of his latest crawfish boil.

Yes, Those are Raviolis in a Crawfish Boil.

Donaldson claims he got the idea to add the ravioli into the boil after seeing a post on a Facebook group called "Eat the Boot". This group is basically dedicated to all of us who love cajun cooking, and it's a great place to share ideas. The first talk of ravioli was adding the lobster cheese ravioli to a crawfish boil, Donaldson said he had to try it and it's delicious.

Since John Donaldson Posted the Picture, He Has Been Bashed All Over the Internet for "Breaking Tradition".

Am I the only who thinks this man is some sort of cajun food genius?

Just Wait, It Gets Weirder. (Yes, I Said Weirder)

What are those things wrapped in aluminum? I am so happy you asked, tamales. Yes, this man decided to add freaking tamales to his crawfish boil. Yes, my Mexican heart is pitter patting with excitement. I must try this.

"There are No Boundaries Anything Can Boil."

That's what John Donaldson said who is an executive chef. He's always pushing the boundaries that he claims don't exist. Clearly, someone way back in the day pushed the boundaries when they decided to cook up some crawfish right?

What Else Does He Recommend Adding to Your Next Crawfish Boil?

He claims that everything he's tried has been a success. He has added artichokes, asparagus pineapples, carrots, lobsters, edamame, green beans and peanuts to his crawfish boils. When I asked John Donaldson if he'd try adding pasta again his response was "Going to use cheese tortellini next time…want to make an after boil tortellini salad..."

Is This Louisianan a Cajun Food Genius?

I thinks so. How do we score an invite to his next crawfish boil?
