As the first waves from a Japanese tsunami threaten Hawaii, locals are worried about their loved ones visiting there. Haughton resident Shannon Reynolds says her mom, her mom's best friend, and a friend of hers went to Oahu to watch a dance team from Tyler, Texas. She says she has heard from her mom -- who says she thinks they're going to be safe -- but Reynolds is still worried. She says she'll be checking in with her mom every 15-30 minutes, just to make sure the group is still safe. The waves hitting Hawaii are expected to continue for a while and officials say they could become larger.
