Union representatives have been working with management on a new contract that has better pay and benefits.

Local USW leaders say this latest contract offers some concessions to the workers, but details have not been released.

Members have been voting on the new deal all day. The latest contract expired on December 16, 2014.

The union has handily rejected two offers since, and the contract has been extended both times.
