Louisiana's Congressional Delegation has written a strongly worded letter against the appointment of Skye McDougall, who was assigned to oversee Veteran's Hospitals in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi and Oklahoma.

In the letter, the delegation asked VA Secretary Robert McDonald to rescind the appointment and called her assignment to the job, 'an insult to Louisiana veterans.' The outrage stems from excessive wait times at California VA Hospitals under her leadership.

Senator Bill Cassidy was the only member that didn't sign the letter. According to Cassidy's spokeswoman, he is hopeful McDougall will improve the VA system.
