Louisiana AG Jeff Landry Tests Positive For COVID-19
Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry was supposed to be on the tarmac to welcome Vice President Mike Pence to the state today, but those plans are off after he tested positive for COVID-19.
In a phone call Tuesday morning, Landry confirmed to Moon Griffon that he got the positive test results. Landry says he feels great and is taking all of the proper precautions. An email sent to staff says Landry was tested in advance of Pence's visit.
Jeff Landry was due to welcome Vice President Mike Pence at the airport in Baton Rouge today. Pence is due to meet with Governor Edwards to discuss the ongoing response to Coronavirus in Louisiana.
