Job Fairs
Unemployed? Looking for a better paying job? Or maybe it's just time for a change. A couple of job fairs are coming up in the next few days that might be of interest to you.The southern hills business association and wesla federal credit union are holding a business expo and job fair this thursday at the summer grove baptist church event center -- entrance two. It runs from 5:00 until 8:00 that afternoon and evening. More than seventy businesses will be on hand and many will be accepting applications for employment.
Then, this saturday, a number of colleges and universities in this area are teaming up for the third annual louisiana regional college career fair at the bossier civic center. That runs from noon until four. More than 80 exhibitors, including graduate schools and employers, will be on hand. The event is open to all college students and alumni from any accredited higher education institution in the country.
