The 5 biggest airports in Texas, one of which is the 2nd largest in the entire United States of America, are not located in 5 cities. Believe it or not, all 5 are in only 3 cities.

Things are bigger in Texas, that's for sure, and that saying applies to the airports in the lone star state as well as other things, big and small ... we do both here ... in Texas. Dallas, Austin and Houston make up the top 5 airports list. Dallas is #2 in the USA, (#3 in the world), and bigger than Manhattan Island, home to over a million New Yorkers.

When it comes to airports, Texas has big covered. As mentioned above, DFW International Airport is a monster. 2nd only to Denver here in the USA and coming in 3rd worldwide behind King Fahd International in Saudi Arabia. It's HUUUUUGE.

All of Manhattan Island would fit within its footprint. Manhattan, by the way, has a park that's big enough to fit an airport in. Seriously, the entire island pictured below would fit within DFW's borders ... with a little room to spare.
