
UPDATE: Silver Alert CANCELED for Missing Louisiana Woman

OUACHITA PARISH, La. (KPEL News) - It's something no one wants to hear about their loved one, a loved one going missing. A family in Ouachita Parish is desperately searching for a missiong woman. The Louisiana State Police has issued a Silver Alert on behalf of the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office for 73-year-old Charlene Fraction.
Ms. Fraction was last seen near her home on Sterlington Road in Monroe on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at approximately 4:02 p.m. LSP received the request to issue a Silver Alert just before 9:00 p.m. the same evening.
Ms. Fraction is a black female with brown eyes and short black hair. She is 4’11” and weighs approximately 127 pounds. Fraction suffers from a medical condition that may impair her judgment.
Ms. Fraction is thought to be traveling on foot and she was last seen wearing a gray hoodie, black pants, and black and white shoes.
Anyone with information regarding Fraction’s whereabouts is asked to immediately contact the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office at (318) 329-1200 or dial 911. All questions should be directed to the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office.
