When talking about weddings, you’ve heard the Old English rhyme "something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue, a sixpence in your shoe." 

This rhyme originated in 19th century Lancashire and lists out each thing they believed a bride should carry with them on their wedding day. If you are superstitious, these items can still hold a strong meaning to you, but many people simply view it as a darling tradition nowadays.
