The Total Eclipse of April 8th is One of the Most Anticipated Events in America.

The moon will move in between the Earth and the sun and during the peak, or what's called totality, the moon will block the view of the sun for a few minutes. It is very rare and some people claim it brings on a scary feeling.

Several people in Shreveport are planning to head to East Texas and some people plan to take a quick drive to Texarkana, wherever you plan to drive to make sure you get to your perfect spot before 1:00 p.m. just to be sure.

According to Eclipse2024.org people who are in the path of totality will see anywhere from 3 to 4 minutes just before 1:43 pm central.

Make sure that you are safe when trying to catch a glimpse of the eclipse, there are several stores that have glasses you can wear including Several places are already selling the glasses.
