Downtown Bossier Brewery Announces It’s Closing for Good
We Had So Many Hopes and Dreams for This Building.
When we saw that Red River Brewpub was bringing more life to the Eastbank we were thrilled. We could get some Shrevport-brewed beer and some delicious eats, it was a win-win for downtown Bossier.
Rumors That Red River Brewpub Was Closing Started Flying After Several Employees Started Posting on Their Social Media Pages.
The rumor was that Red River Brewpub would close on Sunday, September 24th.
Red River Brewpub took to their socials to confirm that they were in fact closing their doors.
The announcement said:
"Dear Patrons and Community Members,
Born from a dream in a Bossier City garage in 2009, Red River Brewing blossomed from the hopes of passionate parents aiming to bring homegrown beer to our beloved locality. Officially setting sail in October 2013, our journey encompassed three locations, a transformation into a brewpub, a national award, and an unyielding resilience through a global pandemic, among other trials and adventures.
In a poetic turn of events, we returned to our garage roots in October 2022, fortified by a decade of shared memories, laughter, and the vibrant support of our community. As we approach the 10-year milestone, it is with heavy hearts yet heads held high that we announce the closure of Red River Brewing (Red River Brewpub at the Garage) on September 24, 2023.
We take this moment to extend our deepest gratitude to our devoted patrons, dynamic team, and supportive community who have been the cornerstone of this venture. Your encouragement has fueled our spirit, and the memories we created together are priceless.
As we prepare to bid farewell, we invite you to join us in the coming week to enjoy the final batches of your favorite Red River beers. Let's raise a glass to the incredible journey we've had, to the friendships forged, and to the indelible mark Red River Brewing has left in our hearts and community.
Here's to a decade of great beers and cheers. Thank you for being part of our story."
