Another longtime favorite restaurant in Shreveport, LA  has closed its doors but its owners hope that someone else will buy the eatery and continue the tradition. This is not the kind of news we like to share.

What's the latest Shreveport, LA restaurant to announce that it's closing?

The latest Shreveport staple to announce they've closed their doors has been serving area residents breakfast and lunch since the 1930s. The restaurant in question is none other than the Cotton Boll Grill on Fairfield Avenue in Shreveport. According to the notice posted at the restaurant, they plan on selling all of the memorabilia and equipment on Thursday, February 29, 2024.

However, the owners of this iconic eatery are hoping that someone will step up to buy the restaurant and continue the legacy of serving up quality southern cuisine.

The Cotton Boll Grill is a Shreveport, LA classic.

I love how the sign up front tells you everything you need to know about The Cotton Boll Grill. It's been around forever and it's an obvious classic!

The Cotton Boll Grill has been THE place to go in Shreveport-Bossier when you're looking for some stick-to-your-ribs comfort food for breakfast or lunch. We hope and pray that someone will purchase the business and continue the Cotton Boll tradition.
