What I’d Do for Perfect Weather for Shreveport’s Centaur Parade
The Krewe of Centaur Mardi Gras parade is set to roll this Saturday in Shreveport, LA and the forecast is calling for a 100% chance of rain. On top of that, forecasters say we're supposed to get a lot of it... As in up to an inch!
As it happens, I'm one of those folks who is constantly making deals in my head with the big guy. If you'll do this, I'll do that. While I know that's not how things work, it works for me. And since I don't want to be wet and cold all day Saturday, I'm willing to forego quite a bit. Krewe members spend a lot of time and money getting ready for parade day. It sure would be a drag if we didn't have anyone to throw all this good stuff to because the weather was too nasty.
What's the forecast for Saturday's Krewe of Centaur parade?
The Weather Channel expects Saturday to be chilly in Shreveport, LA, with a high of around 60°. They also say we have the potential for heavy rainfall, up to an inch, with a 100% chance of rain.
So, here are the things I'd give up for the next month to ensure that we all have perfect parade day weather for the Krewe of Centaur this Saturday! Oh, and for the love, don't wash your car between now and Saturday. We need all the help with Mother Nature we can get right now!
