The Texas Department of Motor Vehicles has zero sense of humor. Unless they think being a bully is funny. Because in some of these cases, it looks like they're being a bully to these Texas drivers.

Getting custom license plates in Texas isn't that hard in the digital world. They even have an entire website built to handle this. But this means they're keeping an eye on it too. Long gone are the days of getting a joke through by putting it on a piece of paper and submitting it to a really busy DMV office. All of these are getting reviewed by computers first, and then a team of people online are standing between you and a hilarious personalized plate.

Before we get too far ahead of ourselves, we're not saying that you should be able to put blatant racism, or any other "ism" message on the plates you get. But simple jokes should be totally allowed.

Maybe the most infuriating of the rejected plates we're going to look at today is the cat lady plate. The plate reads "CAT L4DY"...pretty simple right? But rejected, banned, by the Texas DMV. Not cool man.
