Mark your calendars, Shreveport's comic conGeek'd Con started in Downtown Shreveport. When this event started back in 2015, not many people probably expected the event to still be going a decade later. But it's 2025, and Geek'd Con is coming back to the Shreveport Convention Center, August 22nd-24th. That's right, its Geek'd Con's 10th Anniversary.

Making appearances at this year's Geek'd Con will be two icons in the anime voiceover world.

What Anime Stars Are Coming to Geek'd Con in 2025?

First up, is Chuck Huber.

Chuck Huber has appeared in live action projects, and has worked behind the scenes, but is best known for his work in the anime voice over world.

He’s best known as Android 17, Android 13, Emperor Pilaf, and Kibito in the Dragon Ball Universe. Another of his well-known characters is Hiei, Master of the Evil Eye, from Yuyu Hakusho.

He has voiced the League of Villains second in command, Kurogiri, in the blockbuster hit My Hero Academia.

Is Chuck Huber Known For Any Other Major Roles?

Oh, and he did his best to scar a generation of anime fans as Shou Tucker in Fullmetal Alchemist.

Other roles Chuck has played include Mohji in One Piece, Kururu in Sergeant Keroro, Austria in Hetalia: Axis Powers, Dr. Franken Stein in Soul Eater.

In addition to Dragon Ball video games, his video game resume includes Borderlands 2, Ghostbusters, The Walking Dead, Aeon Flux, Smite, and The Killing Floor, among others.

Chuck has voiced over 300 characters across the worlds of anime and video games during his career.

Has Chuck Huber Ever Acted On-Screen?

On-screen, he played Dean Hansen on Season 2 of American Crime on ABC, and appeared as Detective Swinton in The Harrowing. He worked opposite Paul Giamati in Parkland, and had starring roles in Odd Man Out, The Fragility of Seconds, Amerigeddon and The Crossroads of Hunter Wild.

What Other Anime Legend is Coming to Geek'd Con in 2025?

Tiffany Vollmer, she is best known as the original voice of Bulma in Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, and Dragon Ball GT, as well as several related movies and video games.

She started as Bulma in the 90s with Dragon Ball, was in all of the Dragon Ball Z movies during the 90s, made her Dragon Ball video debut in 2002 with Dragon Ball Z Budokai, and continued through the 2000s in every show, movie, and video game she needed to bring Bulma to life in. She eventually retired from the Dragon Ball universe after more than a decade of voicing the iconic role.

Has Tiffany Vollmer Ever Had Other Anime Roles?

Her other anime credits include the opening and closing credits song for Yu Yu Hakusho, the role of Betsy on Case Closed, Hitomi Iwai in Detective Conan. With a background in theater and film production, she has worked both in front of and behind the scenes throughout her career.

What Other Celebrities Are Coming To Geek'd Con 2025?

This year's guest lineup also includes a 35th Anniversary "Shell-a-Bration" for the release of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie. Including voice actors Brian Tochi (Leonardo), Robbie Rist (Michalangelo), and martial artists Ernie Reyes, Jr. (Donatello) and Kenn Scott (Raphael). The four Turtles actors will be joined by Francois Chau, who portrayed The Shredder in the TMNT film universe as well. You can catch all of these guests, this summer in Shreveport, Louisiana!
