Welcome to another edition of "Big In Texas".  For whatever reason "frogs" were a topic around the office today, so I found one worthy of being called "Texas-Sized".

A Confession

I have been a life-long horror fan. Not only do I like scary movies, monsters, houses and everything in-between, I am part owner in two haunted theme parks. I did not start loving horror because the only movie that I ever walked out of was "Frogs". I should clarify and say that I walked out of the movie as a kid in sheer terror, even though I knew I was going to have to walk miles to get home. Fortunately I overcame any fear I had of frogs, because we have a big one to discuss today.

Frogzilla

Don't let the picture below scare you the same way "Frogs" scared me. It is a 13 pound bullfrog, but the perspective makes it look much, much bigger. Markcuz Rangel found the monster frog while hunting. Markcuz assured his Facebook friends that he "didn't kill the frog for nothing", and that he was "going to have frog legs for dinner", but later said he "sold it to a Chinese restaurant in Uvalde".

The World Record

The frog pictured below is said to be 13 pounds. If the frog was that heavy it would certainly be a world record. Guinness currently lists the World's Biggest Frog at a mere 8 pounds and 1 ounce. Again, the picture is not fake, it is a matter of perspective because of the way Markcuz is holding the frog.
