OK, whenever someone claims they've found the most 'iconic taco joint in Texas,' we have to take a look.

We know tacos in Texas. And we know what constitutes a GREAT taco. But iconic? Oh yeah, we can do that, too. And here in Longview and Tyler, Texas, we have many great options.

Torchy's Tacos. Yep, the one based in Austin, Texas.

Granted, we were semi-surprised as some assumed they'd pick a non-chain taco place as the most 'iconic.' But then again, one of the things that has made Torchy's such a popular chain is because, well...they make great tacos.

And beans.

And queso.

And omg this is what I'm having for dinner because thankfully we have Torchy's Tacos here in East Texas.
