It's that time of year! It's hunting season!

Currently, Louisiana hunters are taking to the fields dove hunting or hitting the water for Louisiana's early teal season which will run through this Sunday, September 29.

And beginning Tuesday, October 1, here in Area 2 of Northwest Louisiana, archers will be treated to the annual Archery Deer Season.

Then on Saturday, October October 5, we'll see opening day of squirrel season here in our part of Sportsman's Paradise!

But, with the coming of hunting season, we see many different (sometimes very unique) types of personalities and traits for these hunters as they make time to enjoy their passion in the woods or on the water.

So, for all our hunters, those who have hunted here for decades, and for those who have just moved to the Bayou State and will soon begin their first hunting season here, we've decided to point out some of the more humorous of those "types" of Louisiana hunters for you.

Of course, the woods and water will be crawling with all the "normal" guys and girls, but because they are so "normal" they are almost boring.
