VisitShreveportBossier.org just broke the news that global concert experts Pollstar had  named our market as one of America's best for concerts.

Of course, leading the concert charge in Shreveport/Bossier is Brookshire Grocery Arena, which jumped at the chance to post this amazing news on their Facebook page.

In the announcement from visitshreveportbossier.org, Tyler Slanovec, General Manager at Brookshire Grocery Arena, shared his joy of the news.

“We are thrilled that the Shreveport-Texarkana market made its debut in the 2024 top concert market rankings. It was a profitable year with sold-out shows from Cody Johnson, Creed, Jelly Roll, Hank Williams Jr., and the return of Trans-Siberian Orchestra for the first time in 12 years. Overall, these accomplishments reflect the incredible community support for our arena and other local venues. We are extremely excited to build upon these successes as we celebrate our 25th Anniversary in 2025.”

5 Animals Better at Predicting Weather in SBC Than a Groundhog

Here in Shreveport/Bossier, most of us have never even seen a groundhog, so why would we ever trust them to predict our weather? Wouldn't these 5 animals be a much better choice to handle the job here in our neck of the woods?
