Janis has been at Bellaire Elementary for years and those students absolutely love her! Even those who have gone on to have families of their own still have incredible memories of this amazing lady!

Her daughter Amanda was the one who gave us the heads up on this beautiful soul and her nomination letter made Janis an easy selection as this week's recipient of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award!

My mom, Janis, is the kindest and most patient person I have ever known. Not only would she drop anything for me and my family, but she would do so for a complete stranger as well. She works at Bellaire Elementary School, and I can promise you everyone there: coworkers, parents, and students will all say the same. She makes an impact on children every day. When kids see her out in public they always yell "Hey Mrs. Caldwell" with a smile and are just so happy. She will do anything that is ever asked of her, and she goes above and beyond. She always has a smile on her face no matter what is going on and will make sure that everyone else is taken care of before herself. She is always doing little gifts and things for everyone and volunteers to help with all work events. She recently lost her father and was more worried about telling my brother and me about the news of her own father. She just truly cares about everyone else and does so much for others. She truly is a kindhearted soul. I just want to stop and have everyone who knows her to take a minute and think of all the little things she has done for everyone without asking for anything ever in return. The list of things she has done for people is unmentionable. She is truly what the world needs more of. Thank you, Mom, from everyone for everything you have done for us.
