Ieshia Winbush’s Boyfriend Arrested for Her Shooting Death in Bossier City

An arrest has been made in last month's homicide in Bossier City. Police detectives say 22-year-old Taurus Carter has been jailed on a criminal warrant charging him with second-degree murder. He's accused of killing his girlfriend, 21-year-old Ieshia (eye-EE-shee-uh) Winbush, at his home in the 600 block of Patton Street. Police had considered Carter a suspect since the initial phase of the investigation, and have been working for a week-and-a-half to gather enough evidence to charge him. Carter's now in the Bossier City Jail on $500,000 bond.
