In the statement from the DOTD, we learn that next week, on the nights of Tuesday, April 18 and Wednesday, April 19, there will be intermittent closures to the outside (right) lane of both I-20 eastbound and westbound at the weigh-in-motion scales near the Town of Greenwood in Caddo Parish.

These lane closures are scheduled to take place from approximately 9:00 pm to 6:00 am each night, and are necessary to allow for the replacement of the scales.

As with all projects, the DOTD advises us that this work will be performed, weather permitting, so the possibility of postponements or amended times or dates is certainly possible.

Additionally, the DOTD issued the following Safety Reminder:

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.

Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
