Hosston Man Arrested for Carjacking

A 77-year-old woman was leaving the Hosston Post Office Sunday evening when she was approached by a man with a knife.

He yelled at her and demanded her keys. She threw them to him. Then he drove off in her 2005 Chevy Equinox. Today, that SUV was spotted at a grocery store on North Market. Caddo deputies were called and intercepted it at Wells Island Road and Grimmett Drive. 51-year-old Howard William Snyder, Junior, was taken into custody and booked into Caddo Correctional Center on a charge of armed robbery.
