HONORARY MARINE

An Elm Grove 7th grader gets his wish -- at least part of it. 13-year-old Odie Harris has been undergoing treatment at St. Jude's for cancer. And he's told the "Make a Wish Foundation" that he wants to be a Marine. Well, that wish has been partly granted. Yesterday afternoon the Bossier Sheriff's Office surprised Odie be making him an honorary member of its Young Marines program and Bravo Company, 1st Battalion, 23rd Marines made him an honorary Marine. He now has a complete Marine uniform and even his own dog tags.
