Hit and Run in Front of El Dorado Casino

It was a gamble that didn't work and it happened near..where else? A casino.  A driver left the scene of a wreck on Clyde Fant Parkway and Texas Street near the El Dorado Casino.

But, Shreveport police found the guy's car and impounded it, says police spokesman Bill Goodin.

"They were able to contact the driver of the vehicle that allegedly left the scene. They got all that information and it's included in the crash report, but at this point no charges have been filed. And, of course, the investigation is still ongoing at this hour. There were no injuries involved in either party."

Sgt. Goodin says officers were able to find the suspect after they discovered his car and impounded it.

Clyde Fant was blocked near the casino for a while during rush hour this morning as police worked to clear the accident scene.
