UPDATE: Do You Know Where This Sex Offender Is?

Shreveport Police reached out to KEEL News to verify this dangerous suspect has been captured.

The Sex Crimes Division of the Shreveport Police Department is asking the public's help in locating a convicted sex-offender.   Shreveport Police is looking for Shuntail Ellis, who is classified as a Tier 1 Sex Offender.

What is a Tier 1 Sex Offender?

According to the Louisiana State Police, a Tier 1 sex offender has "committed sexual offenses against a victim who is a minor."   A Tier 1 offender has to register with the state for a 15 year period conducted annually.

Ellis was previously convicted of Carnal Knowledge of a Juvenile.  He also has two prior convictions for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender.  Shreveport Police would very much like to find this suspect.

Because of his most recent non-compliance to registering as a sex offender, a warrant has been issued for Ellis for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender- 3rd Offense.  Ellis is considered a Child Predator, and needs to be brought to justice.
