Gun Shots Ring Out at Stop the Violence Rally in Shreveport
Violence erupts at a stop the violence rally in Shreveport. It happened Sunday night on Crosby street in the Mooretown neighborhood as a pastor is speaking about coming together and making our neighborhoods safer shots ring out twice during the event. Organizers decided it was time to go home because of the shooting. No one was hurt. Residents nearby believe the shots were fired by rival drug gangs in the neighborhood, but so far no arrests have been made in connection with these shootings.
Police are urging the public to step forward with information about the shots fired in the neighborhood on Sunday.
