Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce Honors Local Business Leaders

The Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce has announced the recipients of the J. Pat Beaird Memorial Industry of the Year and Forum Small Businesses of the Year honorees. The Industry of the Year Award recognizes a corporate entity from the Greater Shreveort area for its outstanding business achievements. This year, that goes to Tango Transport, established in 1991 by father-and-son team Robert and BJ Gorman. The company went from a humble start-up to having hundreds of employees, who provide service to thousands in the U.S., Mexico and Canada. The Forum Small Business of the Year Award recognizes a small business for its outstanding business achievements and civic contributions in our community...and those were handed out to JEB Design/Build, ParkerPointe Systems, Shreveport Dance Academy, Superior Marketing Solutions and Velocity Care Urgent Treatment Center.
