GASOLINE PRICES INCH UPWARD

The price at the pump is getting ever-closer to the three-dollar mark. AAA's Daily Fuel Gauge Report says we're paying, on average, $2.98 for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline this morning in Shreveport/Bossier. That's a penny more than we were paying a week ago today -- 36-cents more than we were paying a year ago. Statewide, the average is $2.99. Nationally, it's $3.11.
