A Shreveport federal jury has convicted former Winn Parish Sheriff Albert D. "Bodie" Little on federal drug trafficking charges.  After hearing four days of testimony, the jury convicted Little on one count of conspiring to possess 50 grams or more of methamphetamine with intent to distribute; one count of possessing 5 grams or more of methamphetamine with intent to distribute; and two counts of using a communication facility in drug trafficking.  Little is set to be sentenced June 15th.  When he is, he could be facing anywhere from 10 years to life in prison and/or a fine of up to $10-million on the conspiracy charge; 5-to-40 years on the possession charge; and up to 4 years and/or a fine of up to $250-thousand on each of the communication charges.
