
Joint Firearms Crackdown Leads to Multiple Arrests at Shreveport Apartment Complex
Shreveport Police Arrest Multiple Suspects Following Firearm Crime Crackdown at Clear Horizons Apartments
After numerous complaints about gun violence at the Clear Horizons Apartments, the Shreveport Police Department and the Shreveport City Marshal’s Office launched a joint operation. On July 29, officers went to apartments G-65 and F-51 to execute arrest warrants and speak with residents. As a result of the operation, several people were arrested for various offenses, including firearm and narcotics violations.
Multiple Suspects Arrested
Patricia Metcalf
- Possession of Schedule I narcotics
- Possession of Schedule II narcotics
- Illegal carrying of a weapon with a controlled dangerous substance
Steven Scott
Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon Scott has a criminal history that includes prior felony convictions for burglary, narcotics, and firearms-related offenses.
Angelica Crowson
- Active warrant for theft
- Three outstanding cases of child desertion
Russell Buffet
Active warrant for manslaughter from another jurisdiction (warrant executed at time of arrest)
In addition to these arrests, officers were also able to seize multiple firearms, as well as illegal narcotics during the operation.

Shreveport Police released a statement saying:
This effort is part of an ongoing initiative to reduce violent crime and improve the safety and quality of life for residents in the community. The Shreveport Police Department remains committed to proactive policing and encourages the public to report suspicious activity.
