The fourth and final round of this year's Regional Autonomous Robotics Competition takes place this Saturday.

The Cyber Innovation Center's Paul Spivey says, even though each round has built upon the previous one, the participating students really won't know what challenges they'll face until they get there.  The competition tests the students' knowledge in the "STEM" subjects -- Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math -- by way of their application to robotics.  Nearly 120 elementary, middle, and high school teams representing close to 40 area schools will be competing from eight until noon at the Bossier Civic Center and the public is welcome.

At the end of the competition, the top three winners in each division will be awarded trophies and the overall grand champion team in each division will receive technology awards for their school as well as personal pizzas for each team member from Johnny's Pizza.
